I would think that whatever intervention is next is in the interest of getting into Iran. My guess is having Syria thrown into chaos would help with this but I'm not sure if they needed to enter directly. Turkey is also on the radar for me (for different yet similar reasons) but Erdogan is smart imo so it'll be a bit longer before something like that happens. I'm not sure if Pakistan is worth it, their military is decent if nothing else is.
