TL;DR: We're starting from a clean state and have demodded everyone as we build a new mod team over the coming days.
Hey guys!
This is something that Nathan has wanted to do for a while, and with the events of the past few days it's been making a lot more sense for me. We're starting the moderator team anew and will be building it from the bottom up over the next coming days.
The mod team hasn't been working well, and with this restart we have the potential of building a better team with less conflict and controversial actions like the ones that have been happening recently. We'll be building the new mod team from a small selection of existing mods and new mods. We will not be re-modding certain moderators.
I want to thank the existing mods for being part of the EM, and I'm sorry for those who aren't being remodded, but it's nothing personal (and please don't take it personally! you're great) and this is for the best.
I support this, don't crack and give in to certain ex mods pressuring you to remod them!!
I think if you build a team from the ground up who respect the adminship you will have much more success.
Old mods who aren't willing to change should not be reminded even if they were once good mods.

Thanks John. With the team we're starting from the ground up, we're going to be making sure that we have unity, trust, and open communication between us.
With the previous moderators leaking mod chats, we weren't able to communicate openly and that has added to the tension among the team, pre-empting this shakeup.
>leaking mod chats
because god forbid the people who actually play em know what the moderators are doing.
I say this wholeheartedly and not sarcastically, it will truly help the site to have moderators that are more concerned with the way the mod team presents themselves rather than people who want to constantly flaunt their perceived superiority. Good riddance to a few and here's to people who the community can respect.

Make kerry mod. Don't mod random new braindead people. Only reason you would do so is if you want brainless sheeps to be your yes men and follow you blindly. Mod team should have people with different opinions so that each of them is kept in check.
This is literally what he's doing because he's insecure and petulant.
1- do you think someone like you deserves to be mod? Someone who has no regards for the rules and thinks they can decide that something is ok for someone who you think is cool but not for others.
2- your team was terrible and with these dumb admins it will remain terrible.
