to help you cope with this startling reality I'll explain why you're wrong if you think lobby mods are a good thing
lobby mods do not curtail the authority of site mods. site mods have and will always enforce community guidelines in the primary lobbies
although lobby mods don't replace site mods, they enforce their own biased 'rules' and only serve to punish users who wouldn't otherwise be punished for trivial nonsense
you might be drawing invalid conclusions from the fact we currently have two sandbox site mods (bebop and I guess merlot). they are not the product of lobby mods, they're site mods from sandbox and as long as sandbox has at least one site mod concerned with reports from sandbox you'll get your 'relatable' bans
removing lobby mods is a change as well, since lobby mods have at this point become the norm. now you don't have to worry about some small niche group of friends looming overhead with the banhammer ready to enforce a totally separate set of guidelines than the ones we're all familiar with
update polls, banner, background, setups, forums; outline and negotiate moderating policy with site mods who can actually give violations for offenses (in case you don't know, lobby mods can't, so lobby mods can only ban you without due cause); manage lobby community events and user interactivity (e.g. submitting setups/banners); everything else you totally seem to have forgotten about
just becuase you dont have moderators doesnt mean you are doing nothing. The only problems in sandbox are community violations such as x-rated and all that stuff which website mods can handle. Bebop & Merlot are basically sandbox mods anyways but able to actually delete posts on the lobby wall
Plus we need an owner to change backgrounds, banners, emotes, etc.
Also im sure cub will do community stuff as she used to stream movies in cykatube or something like that in sandbox and she hosted terraria servers and other stuff.

if you gonna give moderation rights soley to site mods whats the point of you being the owner then? its literally no different than bebop being the owner and being an offical sandbox mod since hell be the only site mod that gives a sh enough to check in on sandbox to solve problems.
my q is: Whats the point of you being the lobby owner if you dont plan to do anything?!
4. I'm not going to be moderating either unless I see actual trouble happening. for example, if you see error and feel unsafe, I'm not going to do anything. file a report or pm a mod about it
I'm not a site mod, I can't ban people from the site. what is me banning someone from sandbox going to do? stop them from using the site? sending pms? all I could possibly do is provoke people, and that's worse than doing nothing
also I believe people can change and I think you must facilitate that change if you ever want it to happen. the only way to get rid of a looming threat online is to make it no longer a threat, and bans can't do that. I don't care what little faith you have, I think less bad will come of treating people well
also I still can't ban people from the site so it's pretty easy for me to enforce that policy
