This is a Big Brother game that will last for around 3 months and will be played over Skype.

I will explain the basics of the game in the first post of the thread rather than the OP as to not to go too long, but you can see some of it in this thread: https://epicmafia.com/topic/77354 (as this game will be heavily inspired by the Survivor Lobby one)

You should know that even though you will need a Skype account for this, its still a text-based game and you won't need to be on call or cam (although you might, optionally). Also, you can use an alternative Skype, but take in mind that daily activity will be demanded, so you will need to use it often.

The game will have 16 players. I mostly want Sandbox players, but players from other lobbies will be included, even if as a minority.

The application date is from today until June 23rd. The game will most likely start on July 7th, and it will last for around 3 months.

Prizes:

1st place: $50 + Gold Trophy on Bakerswag2

2nd place: $20 + Silver Trophy on Bakerswag2

3rd place: $10 + Bronze Trophy on Bakerswag2

Draft Winner: $20

Note: The game will mostly happen on Skype and the cast will not be revealed until after the game starts, so you have to be fine with other people you may not even know having your skype, as it will be mandatory to add all the hosts, and strongly encouraged to add every single one of the houseguests.

Another note: If you participated in SBBB before, you are NOT allowed to apply for this one. If you applied for SBBB last time and did not get casted, you MUST apply again if you want to be considered.

agus just linked this to me as another one of his attempts to drag me back into community, so in retaliation im going to tell a story. i called bdog a week ago and he told me that agus is called a dolphin "because he looks like one, his eyes are far apart." i told agus this who was like "uhhh no it's because i randomly started mentioning dolphins in games" AND THAT'S HOW I BECAME AN ACCESSORY TO MURDER

also note that making a good application could help out a lot in getting casted! last time almost every GOOD application was casted.

The final 2 players will be judged by what we call The Jury, who are the players that ranked in ranks 9th through 3rd. They will decided, who deserves to win, based in factors such as who played the best game and other stuff. The final 2 players will be giving a textual speech of why they deserve to win, explaining their game or strategies, and then the Jury will be able to ask them questions and see their answers, before they decide the votes. Obviously, the one that gets the most votes will win.



As you may have realized by now, this game is a lot about social interaction, psychological manipulation, as well as different skills for the different challenges. You will need allies and friends in order to remain in the game, and eliminate the people you would rather eliminate.


It's a game that will create drama in the house, and you will have to prove you are mentally strong enough to survive the whole game.

The game will take around 3 months, depending on the amount of participants and how active things are. Give or take a few weeks.

There will be some twists here and there but this is the basic for now.

I'd suggest reading some wiki articles on big brother strategies and stuff if it isn't clear, or just shoot me up a PM and i'll do my best to reply.

Explanation of the Big Brother game:

Note before explaining: When I say week it's not necessarily a full 7-days week, but an in-game week which will take 4-5-6 days usually.


ORG: Online Reality Games. it is basically an online simulation of the real life show. It will last for around 1-2-3 months like the real show, and the players will always be in the game interacting with one another 24/7, with no breaks in between.

The majority of the game will take place on Skype. So the house chat, the diary room chats, and all of the alliance chats will be through Skype. However, I will constantly be updating a thread on the forums to keep all of the viewers following the game updated on what's happening. (Note: You do not have to get on camera or call at all, it is all text based still)


The game itself is based on Big Brother US.

It's a game in which the participants will pretend to be in a house living together. Every week there will be a challenge, that will determinate the Head of Household. This person will then pick two people who will be up for elimination. Afterwards, there will be another challenge for Power of Veto. Whoever wins this will be given the chance to save someone from the nomination or not. If someone was saved, the HoH will need to decide on another person that goes up. Afterwards, everyone in the house will vote to eliminate one of the two players, and the person with the most votes will be kicked out.
