Bots are truly cancer. As hard as it is to believe, the benefit of this website is that people can play games that mostly involve interacting with other people. Bots completely take out that aspect by creating a game full of spam that reward players for ignoring other players and concentrating on their own interactions with a NPC whose gimmick revolves around cheap addictive draws such as currency or other "quirky" features. It's the lowest form of entertainment and is filling up sandbox with games and people are joining without even knowing about bots at all, and new people joining the website will think this is the norm. You can make the argument that since people are joining bot games, that would mean that they are fun and successful, but this website is not supposed to be some single player distraction from your desk job while you play a version of a card game that would be better done on other websites/programs. Bots are lowering the quality of all entertainment on this site.

This isn't your place to experiment. You can talk all you want about freedom of having these bots create games, but if they're detracting from the amount/size of games that can be played at lower traffic hours and ruining the core of the experience that this website provides all while giving new people the wrong impression, which means the bot idea is cancer. Not only that, but more bots are more than likely on the way which will only make the situation worse.

Just because you can, it doesn't mean you should.

If you want to play a single player game or a multiplayer game that has infinitely better features than bots, go on Steam. Leave EM alone.

TBH I REALLY liked TamaBot it was fun for when waiting for the game to fill or playing said mini games in game. But man all these other bots are just annoying. I'd rather have none. All they do is spam things and break games.
