also if you host a 12p game at 3am it's your fault it doesn't fill, why are you hosting a 12p game? we have 6p setups for that genius
Agreed, bots are driving real players away and should be removed from the site.
Sandbox has had fewer active players the last few days with bots then it normally would be.
i just got kicked after being called a "stupid f*ck" for not conforming to a person's narrow viewpoint so let me explain something to idiots who lack the damn sense to figure it out themselves
let's say there are two games, a game hosted by a bot and a game hosted by a player. one of two things will happen:
1. some people will join one, some people will join the other. you think that's a problem? you want to take away people's free will to do what they damn well please. you are bad for the site.
2. one game will fill. so what's the problem? now, i'm told that it's because there are two games that nobody joins either. that's demonstrably stupid, if people don't join your game it's because they don't feel like it not because they have options and therefore don't choose any options. if anything more options gives more people more reason to play because not everyone always wants to do one thing all the time
i think the real problem here is 1. you're blaming bots for epicmafia's ever-present dead hours where games don't fill and have never filled because nobody's online, and 2. if you don't play because of bot games that you have the option of not joining, it's not the bot's fault, it's yours. you are the reason there are fewer players, you are a self-fulfilling dumbas*
you don't play the game though so you can be forgiven for not knowing
i just played a game with 11 players and 1 bot, the bots seem significantly outnumbered by real players
because its just filled with bots
not real players most people left its not as active as it used to be
