Ok what I meant was that devoting yourself or a lot of your free time to things out of your control is a losing game since your vote maybe counts if you're voting in a four person precinct or something but even then it probably wouldn't matter the idea of an informed citizenry is what the man wants you to believe in to feel like you're doing something important but your time would be a lot better spent either having fun or doing something productive the citizenry will never be informed the system is built on propaganda and bias exploitation and voting isn't a part of anything important anyway who cares if the bad guys win just live your life
