Other than signalling their intent to work with widely despised former terrorists whose values are utterly incompatible with the rest of Britain, you mean?
Don't underestimate how much this DUP deal will tar the Tories.
there's too much glory supporting in British politics. Nothing has happened in the past two days that has made the Tories any less unelectable than previously, it's just now people realise they actually aren't guaranteed to win.
Well that went far better than expected. My friend Lloyd won Brighton Kemptown, and I now live in a Tory-free city. Winning seats in Scotland shocked everyone and is great news - the Corbyn manifesto did that entirely, because Kezia is about as inspiring as a wooden spoon, but still. Glad to see Labour challenging in seats across the South and giving us another route to a majority next time. Hastings, East Worthing, Southampton Itchen, Plymouth Moor View, Camborne and Redruth, Truro, Arfon... so many seats we can target in the South, where we were only narrowly held back.
A coalition with the DUP will kill May. Their homophobic anti-women anti-catholic bigotry may fly in NI, but it's anathema in the rest of Britain. They go from scandal to scandal, and the Tories will be tarred by all of them. Mixed emotions on missing some easy targets whilst simultaneously gaining less expected ones, but unlike 2015, this election just gave us a base to build on for a majority. Viva Corbyn.
