Hey all! In early march a game I really enjoyed(Steredenn) is coming out on the switch. It's a rogulike shoot 'em up with a beautiful space backdrop, I found it super frustrating at first but extremely satisfying when I beat through the bosses.
A huge update is coming out along with the game, so I definitely recommend picking it up for the ~13 dollars it's worth
I've been playing Celeste and its as fun as people made it out to be!
More importantly, for those that care, financial data came out today for the switch! The switch has officially outsold the wii u by 1 million copies in 3 quarters, more than the wii u could accomplish in 5 years
(Big shoutout to Odyssey for selling 9 million in just two months!)
While sales shouldn't represent the quality of the games, I'm happy to see this data because it insures that we'll continue to get quality games over the next few years for the switch
I got Celeste lel, i really like it so far, simple but challenging, good for short sessions if needed. I apparently died 82 times in the first stage but it really didn't feel like it :^ )
Also, a game called Celeste came out on the switch(among other platforms). I haven't tried it, but it's getting really good reviews! It's worth checking out.
here we go! off the rails! dont you know its time to raise our sails? its freedom like you never knewwww dont need bags or a pass say the word ill be there in a flash! you could say my hat is off to you!
in terms of the "pirating" i don't think nintendo minds the cardboard part but the labo will come with software and stuff which i imagine would be hard to pirate :^ )
Also it seems they encourage to get creative but im not sure how they plan on people to do that yet :thonk:
just get a cardboard box and build a house or piano or a robot or a fishing rod the possibilities are endless

labo is good and all labo haters are weak it is a good idea to get children to explore their own creativity and cognition. it seems very fun and reasonably priced considering how expensive a switch is in the first place. labo is innovative and socially responsible and just seems FUN!!!!!!!! stop being afraid of the future of kids entertainment and also dont forget that nintendo doesnt have to cater to Adult Gamers for something to be good
i would really want to play with it NOW but it would be a must have for me if i was nine
