Awfully convenient how this gets passed in the midst of accusations of Russian election hacking and Pizzagate. Russian hacking, which there is no proof of outside of the CIA's 'secret meeting conclusion', sure did cause Hillary's cronies to launder money for their campaign from Saudi Arabia!
By the way, for those curious, the Intelligence Community acknowledges how easy it would be to detect if Russia actually did engage in 'hacking' email servers. It is a question of tracing network login origins. The only 'hacking' by Russia up for discussion is the manipulation of bots and social engineering on sites like Reddit and Twitter. Those can only go so far in pushing a narrative, and you can bet Twitter and Reddit worked hard to clear Trump-supporting bots.
Oh, and let's not forget the fact that the CIA just so happens to be responsible for rigging the elections of 3rd world countries all around the globe, such that they become politically and thereby economically dependent on Western banking interests.
But this is all fake news, right?

war with Russia does not automatically entail nuclear war.
what it does entail is a propaganda campaign and increasing military presence in states Russia is involved with. none of these are good for our democracy. going to war with Russia right now involves encouraging more ISIS-like groups to form, China to side with Russia, and the constant looming threat of nuclear holocaust, something that would lead to irrational fear and warmongering, as well as justification for another senseless Vietnam or Korean War...
trust me, none of which you want to see in your lifetime, especially when we are so close to establishing mutual grounds as a singular human race, rather than as divided nations of people
I'm not saying that the upper class are patron saints, or that they always keep the best interest for the world at heart. Social classes are a thing, plain and simple, and not a positive one for the vast majority of people. They're oppressive.
Money and power does corrupt, and as the influence on the primary shows. Wanting to stay in power is a natural thing. But fundamentally they're not out to destroy the world and get into wars with Russia, they're generally not out to march all over the filthy peasants, and in particular Podesta & Clinton weren't out to create a fascist state that marched all over, and they definitely weren't trying to invade Iran (Look to the Neocon war hawks for that).

Tatami, idk where you're getting the annihilation plot from, but that is very much against what the current global order is all about. as you say, they do have philanthropic pursuits. as Soros himself admits in the 60 Minutes interview i posted, on one day, he is a social humanitarian, and on the next, he is a market rigging banker. he can live in both ways, and it doesnt bother him in the slightest.
to the people with the amount of money needed to change the future of entire continents of human beings, business involves deciding who gets to live, who gets to die, who gets to eat, and who gets slave-wage jobs.
this is not a sustainable system, especially in the midst of upcoming droughts and widespread heating due to climate change.
Trump represents a force for change. will it be better or worse than the past establishment? either way, it was necessary to supplant the current one, because they have become too greedy and manipulative, even going so far as to put in place Big Brother concepts to permanently secure their stronghold.
