Everyone wants their role to be added. This isn't for everyone.
While lucid is actually active at present, this thread is for fixing roles and mafia-related features. Improving the game itself is more important than adding a bunch of role clones.
as for no graveyard, the graveyard exists to educate new players and allow invested players to spectate, removing the graveyard is removing an extremely useful feature of epicmafia for all players
if you must add some role that revives someone (spoiler: you shouldn't), restricting graveyard view to exclude meetings only if that role is in the game would be the most logical approach similar to how baker triggers famine only when present
without that role in the game, the setting is meaningless and only serves to take away from the game
what's the point of an unbalanced setup i think what you mean is lucid should refactor the balancing code to recognize third party games instead of town/mafia exclusively
so games that reach meteor will be endless? meteor isn't a style choice, it allows games to end upon reaching gridlock otherwise they never would
this would require baker in the first place lest it be autowin for roles like werewolf so self-defeating
will see no play, basically anonymous decks but without any way to play the game
i considered game modes before but there aren't many that are actually worth adding and stripping the game of its features is absolutely not how you go about it

With more setups potentially based around famine, I agree that the mafia needs a way of getting their own sustenance. Maybe a Cannibal role could help with that? The mafia harvests their victims for food at night during a famine... gruesome, but could be interesting with role blocks or medical/protective roles in play.
The idea needs a lot of tweaking, though. It's really rough and late at night, so if you see this, Lucid, wait for me to fix it up later.

If you're thinking of adding a "start from famine" feature, might I suggest some sort of mafia-sided Baker? Perhaps called something like Caterer?
For example:
Caterer • Can give two pieces of bread every night. • Once the Caterer is dead, the famine begins. Whoever does not have bread for 3 days will die from famine. • Sided with the mafia.
Some adjustments could be that it could only give one bread or that the famine of the Caterer only affects the mafia? I just think this would be very interesting in certain setups where both teams have to focus on winning whilst protecting themselves from the famine.
I don't think the setup should simply be "no graveyard," it should be "graveyard cannot see world actions and is anonymous chat." I guess no graveyard is a simpler name, though.
Can you make it so we don't have to make balanced teams?
I feel like it's in place to prevent point farms, so maybe even consider adding a button on role setup called "Unbalance teams", and when checked the balance filter is turned off but that setup can never be ranked.
any chance we can get janitor able to jan maf? could be nice to jan yak and maybe jan maf killed by non-maf (if that works anyways)
also a slew of maf roles (such as poisoner) can circumvent mastermind by using their secondary meeting to find maf partners. I'm not sure if that is intentional or not, but y'know.
anon gams are broken again it seems all players are stuck in pregame, unable to speak at all as the pregame timer is stuck in 0. this happens in all decks from what i heard
