I'm just concerned about the ramifications of a government that seems very unconcerned with the environment and more concerned with immediate economic benefit. I'm hoping (and suspect) that eliminating the EPA is one of those things Trump won't be able to follow through on. But even if he can't, that sort of attitude certainly suggests we won't be taking steps in the right direction to prevent serious irreversible damage to our planet.

The environment was gone long ago. The last time I checked we're a good bit passed the irreversible damage point

Even if we had Shillary it wouldn't have changed a thing about America's stance on destroying the environment for profit.

I'm not pro-Shillary

It's not as if there's just a single switch and we flipped and now there's going to be X amount of damage to the environment and then it's over and done with. Four years of "screw the environment, let's be prosperous now" could be the difference between higher sea levels and a runaway greenhouse effect.

Trump is going to be neutered by congress, who he has made an enemy of in its entirety. We've elected sterile breeding stock.

I mean, yes, there is already plenty of damage done. But with each passing year we don't take action, we're doing more and more damage.

A socially conservative SCOTUS is a bit disheartening but I'm cautiously optimistic that the potential rollback in social liberties people are foretelling is just reactionary panic and we'll continue to see victories on that front in state elections trickle in over time.

I'm probably gonna lose my healthcare within the next year or so which kind of blows.

I don't really know enough about the rest to say. Life will go on.

It's fine the British government don't need a scape goat to fuq over our environment. Yet no one seems to care. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/fracking-lancashire-cuadrilla-sajid-javid-planning-permission-overturned-a7347576.html
