Welcome to Forum Mafia 19: Forbidden Actions!

Game is over. Ended on Day 5

Mafia wins! This game was ranked.

The mastermind's behind this game are Gerry, Mori and myself.

The game will be played like any other Forum Mafia game, with one twist! Every player will be given an action pregame. If the action they are given is performed, they will be Killed from the game, with their forbidden action being shown afterward. More information will be given under Rules.

I. The Schedule:

72 Hour Days. 24 Hour Nights

  • If you don't submit actions by the deadline I will consider you taking no action.

II. The Set Up:

  • There is no "possible roles list". I promise not to get too crazy.

  • Mafia will have Day chat. And will know each other's Forbidden Actions

  • You will get an Alignment PM. Town or Mafia and your alignment will not change.

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

As explained earlier, there will be forbidden actions. YOU CANNOT SHARE YOUR FORBIDDEN ACTION. If found to, you will be mod killed. If you commit the forbidden action, you will be killed from the game. You may speculate forbidden actions of others within the game. If asked whether your forbidden action is something, you cannot confirm or deny. You can also not soft or hint as to what your forbidden action is.

We also will be strict about ISP and replacements. If you think for any reason you MAY have to be replaced, do not sign up. We also reserve the right to deny anyone from joining, if we believe you will troll, isp, sub.

IV. Votes:

  • Votes must be made in the format Vote: Playername. Bolding is done using the tags [b][/b].

  • I will not take any other type of vote. If I can't tell who you're voting, I won't take it.

MOD NOTE Mori will be giving out a token prize to a player from each alignment who the hosts determined played best.

total overreaction to being fossed, citeopml ponylove and himiko are mafia. don't worry about their long bus sequence that they had earlier, one of their forbidden actions is that they aren't allowed to fos anyone except their partners

i thought most of her d1 was pretty good but didn't really like anything after she voted nicole

btw, whats the take of the there being a third party role? can retti out who the second person to visit him was? the damned kill couldve been from the third party, or the third party may have been one of the people visiting retti

i can only think of one reason for N1ed to really say not to out the second visiting role would be and that is if they are claiming they're a killing role (vig/etc/blah) and know the second visit was a doc, but i don't see a reason a vig would actually shoot retti yet

regarding alignment tells coming from forbidden actions, i don't think this one is too obviously either scum or town sided. i would initially think its more town sided because it creates the dynamic of maybe having to explain why you voted so early in certain lynches, but its the same case for scum

given the forbidden actions of the the two vanilla townies now dead though, its hard to say

I think you have one single vote, which is me. How can you say something like "I'm not 100% opposed to you lynching to me.." then in the very next line talk about how you suggest not getting lynched because it would doom town for some reason? That doesn't really make sense to me. I think I'd be more willing to unvote you if you gave out some reads or tried a bit more.


I dont know who I want to vote. umm like, I'm fine dying, but like, this is so hard to explain without talking about my lovely action. basically, nahh. do not lynch me today. just dont.

People's behaviors change though, of course, and forbidden actions could be changing that behavior. I do think maybe Ponylove is having trouble keeping up, which is making it hard to out accurate reads. I'm not really sure atm.


I'm here once every 2 days, basically, or so it seems, and there's lots of filler everywhere, so yeah, I'm not keeping up.

She is playing a bit more confident and more reserved but I think if you're town soda you are reading too much into behaviors instead of what people are saying, which is something I've been thinking about but don't know if I'm ready to commit to that idea. That's why I told you that I understand your reads but I just simply don't agree with them, because even now I share that feeling that Nat is playing a bit weird.
