Welcome to Forum Mafia 19: Forbidden Actions!

Game is over. Ended on Day 5

Mafia wins! This game was ranked.

The mastermind's behind this game are Gerry, Mori and myself.

The game will be played like any other Forum Mafia game, with one twist! Every player will be given an action pregame. If the action they are given is performed, they will be Killed from the game, with their forbidden action being shown afterward. More information will be given under Rules.

I. The Schedule:

72 Hour Days. 24 Hour Nights

  • If you don't submit actions by the deadline I will consider you taking no action.

II. The Set Up:

  • There is no "possible roles list". I promise not to get too crazy.

  • Mafia will have Day chat. And will know each other's Forbidden Actions

  • You will get an Alignment PM. Town or Mafia and your alignment will not change.

Your forbidden action is: Using pictures or gifs in any of your posts

YOU CANNOT SHARE THIS FORBIDDEN ACTION WITH ANYONE

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

Each night, one of you or your partners may perform the factional kill. You may kill and perform your role action during the same night.

You win if at least one member of your group is alive and all other players are dead (or if nothing can prevent the same)

As explained earlier, there will be forbidden actions. YOU CANNOT SHARE YOUR FORBIDDEN ACTION. If found to, you will be mod killed. If you commit the forbidden action, you will be killed from the game. You may speculate forbidden actions of others within the game. If asked whether your forbidden action is something, you cannot confirm or deny. You can also not soft or hint as to what your forbidden action is.

We also will be strict about ISP and replacements. If you think for any reason you MAY have to be replaced, do not sign up. We also reserve the right to deny anyone from joining, if we believe you will troll, isp, sub.

IV. Votes:

  • Votes must be made in the format Vote: Playername. Bolding is done using the tags [b][/b].

  • I will not take any other type of vote. If I can't tell who you're voting, I won't take it.

MOD NOTE Mori will be giving out a token prize to a player from each alignment who the hosts determined played best.

Honestly, you two squabbling wasn't getting the thread anywhere. I've town-read you both since your last fight, and I would prefer if we started to talk about possible lynches or maybe trying to discern if the nicole wagon had scum on it, which I'm sure it did, but nobody has really talked about it besides maybe denial based on my memory.


You tr 2 people for fighting with each other?


There's more to it that I talked about in my pastebin that you probably never read. Both of their arguments aren't particularly strong but I'm not seeing the scum intent in them. Surprisingly, neither of them have really changed their play to question them either and their arguments have pretty much devolved into nonsense and nitpicking. Why pose this question if you had nothing else to offer yourself?

Maybe I'm just being super cautious because you steamrolled me in FM12 something just feels off about you.

But that rxn test doesn't seem like something that would come from scum.

Himiko's definitely the role she claims she is and is probably town at this point and I just made a misjudgment.

This was by far the scummiest line I've seen in a while, but it makes sense in context with epicmafia where people get highly defensive treat their roles as extremely important despite this being a 18-man setup where almost everyone probably has a PR including the mafia

I lynched Nicole? I'm pretty sure I did no such thing.

So apparently the mods decided they weren't clear enough and let N1ed off with a warning. Which means the fact that the thread was locked for a bit was a mod confirmation of N1ed's Forbidden Action being what he was hinting at but he got let off with a warning.

Kinda disappointed because I totally thought I had something but oh well. Let's go with this.

btw mist, you can still think hes scum for softing a forbidden action that wasnt his action. its not necessarily confirmed he softed his actual forbidden action.. because mods may have been thinking "hey do we kill him for trying to soft a forbidden action at all?"

although as i was typing this post thats not likely if they were considering killing him...
