Welcome to Forum Mafia 19: Forbidden Actions!

Game is over. Ended on Day 5

Mafia wins! This game was ranked.

The mastermind's behind this game are Gerry, Mori and myself.

The game will be played like any other Forum Mafia game, with one twist! Every player will be given an action pregame. If the action they are given is performed, they will be Killed from the game, with their forbidden action being shown afterward. More information will be given under Rules.

I. The Schedule:

72 Hour Days. 24 Hour Nights

  • If you don't submit actions by the deadline I will consider you taking no action.

II. The Set Up:

  • There is no "possible roles list". I promise not to get too crazy.

  • Mafia will have Day chat. And will know each other's Forbidden Actions

  • You will get an Alignment PM. Town or Mafia and your alignment will not change.

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

You win if at least one member of your group is alive and all other players are dead (or if nothing can prevent the same)

As explained earlier, there will be forbidden actions. YOU CANNOT SHARE YOUR FORBIDDEN ACTION. If found to, you will be mod killed. If you commit the forbidden action, you will be killed from the game. You may speculate forbidden actions of others within the game. If asked whether your forbidden action is something, you cannot confirm or deny. You can also not soft or hint as to what your forbidden action is.

We also will be strict about ISP and replacements. If you think for any reason you MAY have to be replaced, do not sign up. We also reserve the right to deny anyone from joining, if we believe you will troll, isp, sub.

IV. Votes:

  • Votes must be made in the format Vote: Playername. Bolding is done using the tags [b][/b].

  • I will not take any other type of vote. If I can't tell who you're voting, I won't take it.

MOD NOTE Mori will be giving out a token prize to a player from each alignment who the hosts determined played best.

Lynchbaits are lynchbaits for a reason, though. I find I often have a visceral aversion to lynching players that might be scum but wouldn't be called lynchbait as either alignment, or at least as town (haven't flipped scum in a while in forum mafia so i'm just assuming). I liked N1ed's d1 and I really liked his reaction today. I wouldn't be shocked if he flipped scum but there are a lot of people I think are more likely right now.

I don't think n1ed is scum and I think nahdia has said some good things so far and not really scumtold. Unreliable TRs? Yes, but only due to low posting rates which I don't think are inherently scummy.

I have to agree with yoyo about pony, when I was rereading I had the same exact thoughts but I don't think that's enough for me to fos her.
My strongest tr now is Himiko mainly because her line of logic seems natural and she has pointed out things that I think are useful especially about the n1ed/retti/transcend. Also I did agree with her that impoetic hesitating on the nicole lynch yet still voting her is pretty suspicious. I have slight trs on transcend and kassidy and even though I had tr impoetic d1 I don't this day.

People I'd be down to lynch: denial or babylonia I guess
I haven't seen much from ripple so part of me wants to add them to the lynch list but also lynches like that are easy for mafia to jump on.

you're really doubling down on this? you haven't presented any reasons that look like you're not joking yet, but you've chosen to say it again? i suppose under pressure you're feeling like if you don't deflect suspicion from yourself onto me you'll be found out. you must feel very guilty. if you feel guilty doesn't that mean you're probably mafia?
