it's been agreed upon that this is not happening. here are some closing statements:
- the 'lobby trolling' rule was misplaced, nebulous, and was never enforced by any lobby owner in the history of sandbox. it is a game-related violation that gets moderated exclusively for ranked games. no user in the entirety of sandbox's runtime has been banned for lobby trolling because host functions allow you to kick them from your mafia games. - we are still moderating for harassment. if a user joins your game and through conversation specifically antagonizes YOU in an effort to elicit a negative reaction, take screens and pm us. we will be more than happy to oblige you. - we get it. thegameguy can be very annoying. as much as you would like to think so, we actually are not complete idiots. we also understand there doesn't seem to be much in the way of self-sufficiency when it comes to the minigames. if you find him griefing/trolling those minigames, or any other user for that matter, pm one of the lobby mods with proper documentation (screenshots) and we'll deal with it accordingly.
i'm locking this. please feel free to pm me with crocodile tears, exciting frittata recipes, or well, any questions or concerns regarding this.
If you are truly too full of yourself to realize and admit that you are wrong for not removing that rule earlier if you actually had an issue with it or not enforcing all of your rules on all users, then I really don't know if you are fit to be in a position of power.
People make mistakes, Morgan, it's fine, but at least admit it rather than fighting a battle that isn't going to be won.

Your argument literally holds no weight. It was an official rule in the rulebook you used to punish people. If you had an issue with the rule then you should have removed it when you got Sandbox instead of when people rallied up to get you to enforce the rules on a rulebreaker. It didn't magically appear in there the thread, you didn't just become the owner of Sandbox and didn't yet get the opportunity to check out the rules, you were aware of rules and you chose to leave that oh so ridiculous rule in there.
Once again, it doesn't matter how you personally feel about the rule, it's not like you just became the owner of Sandbox and didn't get a chance to check out the rules. You didn't remove it either time you got Sandbox, you removed it when people pushed for someone breaking the rules (who you like) to be punished and you just couldn't have that. He broke a rule and you refused to punish him and THEN proceeded to change the rules to avoid having to punish him.

"antagonising others to get negative reactions" is such a ridiculous and broad rule that well over half of sandbox could be punished for. it's stupid and has no place in sandbox which is why i removed it, i have no bias towards thegameguy, if he breaks another of the rules let me know and he'll be punished.

Of course he's not breaking any rules NOW, after the first thread about TheGameGuy was created and people starting to rally up, Bebop changed the rules so that he didn't have to punish TheGameGuy.

This is a rule broken by TheGameGuy which no one can deny, he was not ever punished for this though and that's what the issue was about. If Bebop's current rules were in place months ago, then people saying that TGG should be banned would have no argument, but that's not the case. There was a rule in place which TGG very clearly breaks on a regularly basis and he was not punished for it. That is wrong.
Yeah, not like breaking rules is grounds for punishment or anything! This petition was definitely made because OP doesn't like TheGameGuy, you caught him!
