Has repetitively been stated that it is a violation. I didn't think it needed to be repeated yet again. I always give violations for spamming in excess regardless.

spamming disrupts both ranked and unranked games, which is why it is handled that way. hima, the primary sandbox moderator, has been handling reports that way for a long long time. it's nothing new
Since the current admin didn't say it's a violation and the rules don't say it's a violation, I'm going to safely assume it's not a violation. Let's keep it that way
I made this thread for clarification to know if I can spam sandbox games in a non-strategical manner and not be violated for it.
You can kick people from future games. All I wanted to know is if the site mods are still enforcing this rule or not and the reply I got was a "So perhaps".
I think spamming shouldn't be moderated in sandbox at all, doesn't matter if the spamming is non-strategical, there's a bloody kick button
You can't kick people after the game starts but I see what you're getting at.
Anyway, I don't understand why you made this thread if all you're going to say is spam shouldn't be moderated in Sandbox. It's not in the Sandbox rules at the moment and the case you pulled up was three owners ago. If the site mods are going to enforce the spam rule in here in a certain way then it should be brought to their attention in the complaints forum.
"In unranked main lobby we give violations for severe cases. This would be like multiple screens of spam. Something similar might be useful for sandbox?
It's basically just so people can't completely derail a game."
So perhaps a rule that looks like this would be in order: "Severe spamming: filling up a game's screen with majority spam."
Spamming Repeatedly sending the same message and/or chat flooding. Includes vote spamming. In extreme cases, if someone has received ample warning, and gameplay is disrupted across several games, a violation may be given in unranked Main Lobby
Site Spam Spamming on the lobby wall, a report wall, on a players wall, or through private messages.
Forum Spam
Creating duplicate threads, posting multiple threads in the wrong forum, post flooding, off-topic posts, and excessively bumping old threads. Minor offences can combine and lead to a violation.
Report Spam Wasting our time by spamming the report section, abusing the report function, linking photoshopped/altered images in a report in order to attempt to apply a violation onto a user, or continuously posting useless reports. Includes commenting in reports after being asked to stop by a moderator. Reports will be filed for report spam by the moderators. If a user reports someone for it, they may receive a report spam violation.
Nothing specifically says spamming is or isn't enforced in Sandbox, and only the first rule listed is a game rule so we can assume the latter three are enforced.
