It will soon be the time when the UK has to decide beetween staying or leaving the EU
Plz share your thoughts on what do you think will the uk will vote
the only thing i care about is that it's kind of funny to watch fellow americans criticize britian for leaving solely because donald trump approves of it
otherwise the debate over the fallout of remain/leave should have been handled a long time ago
Scotland votes remain, and so does London, but Scotland hates London. This vote to make us better is instead going to be the thing that breaks the Union.
but huuuuur Britons never, never, never will be slaves.

absolutely crazy
wales + britain seperated from scotland seperated north ireland becomes ireland when
Tbf it was always said that it COULD be spent on the NHS, and this hasn't changed. Only person that has the power to say that it will actually be spent on the NHS be is Cameron, and he was never gonna say that.
I agree though, yeah. campaigns could've been run a lot better. Turnout was pretty expected at about 70% overall (I think?). That remaining 30% was probably mostly made up of people being undecided. Unlike a general election where there's always some 3rd party you can vote for if you don't like the big two, there wasn't here. So if you hadn't picked a side there was no point voting.
There are no facts in this, and there never were. It's all speculation and there's a whole of "if we stay then X" and "if we leave then Y". The lack of facts and abundance of potentially misleading information was on both sides and both campaigns have been full of crap. It's been an all round plethora of speculation, and you can neither confirm or refute speculation. It's also quite appalling how people on both sides have campaigned.
You're not a racist if you disagree with the EU's economic polices, and you don't hate your own country if you think we're better in the EU. It's pretty sad looking back at all the turdflinging that's been happening both ways.
I partially agree with this, but if one side decides on a figure and then says we are going to do this with said figure, they are misleading people even on their own predictions.
It's a shame the vote even went ahead with how the campaigns were run and the poor turnout, nothing to do now but wait tho
The point I am trying to make is that many people will have voted based on information which simply isn't true, which is quite upsetting and misleading

I hope the British currency continues to drop and the EU stays strong bc fk Britain, ukip, and hatred and fear mongring which can't win. [except for like 5 brits that I think are cool rip u guys]
1: Farage isn't PM and never had the power to make this claim anyway. Regardless, the claim was always that we COULD spend it on the NHS
2: Leaving the EU gives us complete control over immigration. We can increase or decrease it as we please. Depends who's in power (Labour would probably up it, Tories would probably decrease it)
4: Uncertainty breeds depreciation. If/when the UK finds its feet again it'll rise quite significantly
5: He's not resigning for another 4 months. He was against Brexit so he was never going to plan for it anyway.

Just to refute some of these:

I was largely neutral and I think that, whatever the outcome was we'd cope and still have something to complain about, but all my friends are throwing hissy fits on facebook. There's a petition going round to redo the referendum, which is just petulant. There's also people calling for Cameron to just disregard the vote because they don't like the outcome. I also don't like how people are just disregarding the vote of the elderly. Keeping in mind that they've been around so long that they've lived life both in and out of the EU, so many people have said they don't deserve a vote.
IMO we've got enough global standing to make trade deals with other countries, especially the european countries that are outside the EU (which may include a couple more after Brexit) and former commonwealth countries.
I thought I was pessimistic but my Facebook feed is an absolute trainwreck of complaints, hope people who voted leave are right in that everything will calm down in a couple of weeks
alright, we left, not what I wanted but ok... Does this mean I can get games from G2A and press the "outside the EU" option. if so then that is ok I guess
