CantFace says

Majority of companies are propped up by their perceived value, with liquid assets worth far less then stock value. So price on sales does matter.

explain this to me please

The European economy was always going to tank, whether Britain left or not, growth had stagnated in a system that relies on perpetual growth to ‘function’.

and this while you're at it. i get that it's the richer countries bleeding wealth into the poorer countries, but the euro has been fairly solid all along.

The European economy was always going to tank, whether Britain left or not, growth had stagnated in a system that relies on perpetual growth to ‘function’.

it's just pricing on sales between investors. the money and the industry is still there. the stocks are in no danger of actually failing without the companies belonging to them being hit

britain's is the only industry with any actual hit to its industry in view - europe choking it out

britain will be fine. the collapse of the EU is at stake here, and it's likely that we will see a divided europe again, and every time europe is divided, it goes to war.

im just scared that this might mean trump actually could get elected... which is basically guaranteeing a major violent conflict with a trade partner of the US... this is potentially the beginning of the apocalypse, and the rightwing freaks are edging as we go towards their desired doom

The markets reflect a loss of confidence in the EU, greater than the lack of confidence in the uncertainty of the Britains future. EU troubles will be further compounded as more countries make moves to try and leave.

So at the time of writing this Germany’s DAX index loses 6.82%, France’s CAC is down 8.04% and Spain’s IBEX no less than 12.35%. While the losses in Britain’s FTSE are 3.15%. Holland, France, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Hungary, they will all have calls for referendums.

While Britain will suffer loses through a period of uncertainty, they have escaped a sinking ship. Centralization is finished, because the economy has failed.

Although I do feel bad for those that still have to live in England.
