so now i can effectively refuse to self every game and if the clear decides to get me bwed I can report him for grudge lynching?
i suppose you can argue that it gets a violation because he lynched two people here; but i really can't see the lynches were both based off grudge reading the d1
also, i really don't agree with "With lines like "even if you're doc you're still being voted" they show clear intent to throw the game.". are you going to give a vio to somebody thats stubborn that says something like "i dont care if you're cop im lynching you" if the cop did something stupid and was bwed on?
which he didn't, fwiw. not once did map say "i don't care if you're town you're getting lynched." he lynched him because lazy wouldn't cooperate which is a move that i've seen pulled countless times by clears
that's not a grudge lynch, i've seen sh*t like that happen all the time, and he didn't play to lose the game so it's not throwing. boy that sure was easy
even if he did say "if you're doc you're still being voted" you have to read into his intent past one line. he obviously wasn't trying to lose the game
"even if you're doc you're still being voted" isn't what he said at all. he said "i bet you will claim doc, and i will still lynch you for making me waste my time." mori actually sustained it without reading the game
^ you really think a scrub clear is going to listen to advice and logic?
the only reason town even won in my last game https://epicmafia.com/game/5172738 was because we didn't listen to the crappy clear and refused to self. the majority of my losses are due to crappy hammers from people i had no involvement with.
it should absolutely not be gamethrowing for a town to refuse to self, as well it should not be gamethrowing for a clear choosing to bw someone who doesn't self; one is situational bad play and the other is usually bad play. neither is playing against win condition.
when that happens what I do is talk to him and give them genuine arguments to lynch correctly, then self
if a clear did scumhunt and is ready to hammer and some guy refuses to self/cross even if the clear said 'if you dont self, you're being bwd' the guy that didnt self is the one gamethrowing, IMO
