it's time.

Who do you want as your new owner?

Just FYI: Winner will not be automatically selected, I just want a rough idea of what sort of consensus we have.

The irony, I can't even express my opinion without one of the Tumblr SJW crowd downvoting me.

The reason was Golbolco sent emails to Lucid saying Kenny was a terrible dictator owner, if you're not active and don't even know the basic history of sb owners your opinion doesn't really matter anyways..

Correlation: If you give someone a 1day ban for saying the N word, dont give someone else a 1week ban or no ban for the same thing. Give everyone 1day ban for it unless its a constant (ie they say the N word, get banned, and when they get unbanned they say it again and so on)

This is likely due to the bias, aye. I think punishments should be on a sliding scale.
The one thing I liked about the Kenny moderation team was the public mod logs. We could see what actions mods were taking. I'd like that to return.

We really shouldn't be looking at people that are within the clique. As we saw with Kenny, that's a bad idea, and as we saw with Golbolco as well, it's a bad idea.
I've felt like there's always been two sides to Sandbox that have been complete opposites of each other: the 4chan crowd, and the Tumblr SJW crowd; with very few people in between. The issue I personally find is the latter crowd is the one that has taken over, making Sandbox a very uncomfortable place to be -- hence why I, and a few other friends, no longer play here. I personally no longer feel welcome due to various dramas and the sheer fact that the Tumblr circlejerk takes the Chatbox over and you are either ignored, or outright mocked. It's kind of lame. So I'm hoping a change in owner, to someone transparent, will maybe bring a more welcoming Sandbox.

The owner should be very middle of the road, as has been stated. A user such as Cub or rockgirlnikki even would fare well. I also feel Bebop would be a good owner.

My point here is no to people like Peach, Jimbei, error, et cetera. Considering what kind of rule breaking some of that crowd has done, I don't think they even need to be considered for lobby owner or even mod.

i forgot to point out another two big issues which as logical and simple as they may seem, they weren't always properly executed

Objectivity: Don't ban users over nothing because you dont like them. Don't forgive people doing bad things because you like them.

Also, I'd like to add that PissProblems should be someone you should really consider. They are a respected user, as far as I am aware, and have a good sense of balance. I cannot recall a time I've seen them stir the drama pot, and they are always a pleasant individual to be around, and play games with.

Reamix would be good, but I think Reamix is also busy a lot of the time so wouldn't be around too much. However, this could be balanced out with a good mod team.

Trick would also be good, but isn't around that much either, and I'm sure is also busy irl.

Bebop seems like more of a newcomer in the sense of being apart of the community. I think he has done a good job as mod, and would maybe be a good owner. The only way to find out is by doing a test run.

Error would also be a good owner, but could become power-hungry, as we've seen when he was a mod.

Jimbei is a circlejerk pick, and although could be good, is way too opinionated, and will likely ban people without real cause.

Peach is also a good pick, but isn't around that much either.

As for SirAmelio, he's contributed a lot to the community, and has been here for awhile. This is another person I would give a test run to see how it pans out.

I think the important thing to remember here is that no matter who is chosen, some people will like them, and some people will not. We need someone who is going to step away from favoritism, and actually do good for the sandbox community by both listening, and abiding by the site's rules.
