You guys taking this so seriously are gonna poop your pants when foxie is made owner and immediately passes it to some random noavi

oh ok ty you're right but like it was the app to lucid that got platy demodded not some random site mod
PS. if anyone wants tips for owner applications mail me i charge 10 tokens :^) it was very thorough though so just a simple paragraph won't be enough. we did like a whole essay
Guys vote Nappeh over Jimbei, we had enough gays run Sandbox
We still need to fulfill our diversity quota under Nappeh, though. Mods have to be half-male, half-female, we need at least 1 gay person, 2 black people, and I'd throw in a miscellaneous minority in there somewhere too, like a Republican or something.

Did garden even get a warning that he was gonna be removed? I don't think he even knows, which was one of the problems Kenny & Platy had when they got removed so why keep doing it lol? He's having like personal problems rn poor guy.
Roadman said like two weeks ago we were going to get a new owner, I'm sure the news spread to him
And I don't mean offense but Garden caused Platy to lose ownership without any prior warning.
Garden has said that "Platy shouldn't take him taking ownership personally", so in this entire ordeal Garden shouldn't take anything personal either, if he's going to stay consistent with his mindset.

No, I nominate Pissproblems.
I'm just saying there are a lot of people who are incapable.
That sounds like you're kind of saying "the people who I'm not personally lobbying for are clearly unfit to do the job. Perhaps nobody should have it if they're really being considered."
That's because I'm always right. Jk, there would probably be a number of good owners available, I don't really know for sure who would do a decent job. My point is we don't know for sure who we are appointing and the only person who can reverse that decision, should it be the wrong one, is lucid, again.
there are certain things lobby owners can do that lobby mods can't, like removing comments on the lobby wall. an active owner who is in sandbox a lot would help a lot rather than me and steph having to talk to site mods to remove x rated gifs from lobby wall every time it happens.
ok i see what you and roadman are saying now! my mistake, i didn't realize there was much of a difference between modship and owner, just thought that owner got the final say on big decisions.

He knows now. He claims he wasn't inactive and was in fact playing games on a semi-daily basis.

A thought: Designated site mods should remain owner because sandbox doesn't need a representative owner.
An owner would likely do more harm to sandbox than good. It attracts ego-driven candidates that are more likely to abuse power or simply make controversial decisions.
An owner's biggest responsibility is to appoint a good team of mods that will enforce the rules. A site mod can accomplish this with community input and put up a wallpaper and silly polls every once in a while; similar to hima's role.
While I don't understand the need for an owner to be very active (They don't have any active responsibilities that can't be handled by sandbox mods in a skype group) they are active. This would also help build a better relationship between sandbox and site mods.
More importantly, site mods can be held accountable by other site mods as opposed to waiting for Lucid to reply to emails every time we need a change in leadership.
Its more important to avoid a bad owner than try to guess who would be a great one.
So essentially what you're saying is, amongst everyone in Sandbox, not one person is capable.
i think he means more that the people who would be good don't want to do it, while the ones who would be controversial are the ones lobbying for it. i think he's got a point about having a figurehead owner and then a team of mods who are really running the show. ask all these people in the poll or who have been suggested if they want to mod, if there's too many willing take applications and then choose a team of maybe 5 or so
I mean, I understand it but I don't necessarily agree with it. Regardless, aside from myself and pereking, no one on the mod team understands how Sandbox functions, so they would be worse off than someone who spends their time here. Furthermore, some people find enjoyment out of being in the position, and I think it would be a shame to let that go to waste.

What gave you the impression that any of us WERE capable?
