Ugh, this episode is just one more reason to hate Lapis. As if there weren't enough already...

hmm?

Lapis was legitimately upset because of how long it took her to feel like she was "fitting in" with Earth, and be used to things that are considered normal. For someone else to have come from homeworld and be 1000% okay with everything turns her worldview upside down because she didn't know that people could adapt so quickly to something she struggled with which upset her

She ended up being right anyways but Lapis was a mind of doubt(besides keeping to her character), Peridot+Steven are extremely accepting and it was a necessary contraction so it wouldn't just be a three stooges episode

Maybe she's still good. She'll come back after she defeats Yellow Diamond!

Entertaining but pointless filler. It's a bit memorable, but I don't think I would ever recommend this episode to anyone who wants to try some SU. The message was clear and has already been done in the past, but it's nice to be reminded of Steven's character toward unsettling individuals like Ronaldo.

It's nice but I thought it was too soon. The episode felt unnecessary. I'm sure there tons of better opportunities for Steven to come to terms with himself in future episodes.

Coming to terms with your mom being a murderer and a liar after being raised thinking she was the best thing to ever happen to the Earth isn't a walk in the park

It's nice to see psychological breakdown of characters as they struggle to find reconciliation with life

I won't lie that that the show's pace is slow. I appreciate the episodes and don't think they're bad, but the problem is the hiatuses. I know it's going weekly again but we never know when we next will have to go months and months without seeing another episode.

@Ben I found the episode cute but yeah, following the zoo the lack of depth is really disappointing. I don't hate it but I can see why it's a poor episode, certainly with how much potential it had. :(
