I want to hear feedback from the EM community and I'd like to know what you'd like to see happening in the moderation team. This is a thread that everyone is welcome to express their likes/dislikes about the team, what needs to be improved, what should stay the same, what should be HC/ what shouldn't.. just a few examples.

I'm asking for constructive criticism, please don't be rude. This is the first step into making the moderation team better and it would really help getting the communities insight on thing.

-What should be HC? What shouldn't?

-Should HC consequences change?

-What changes would make the mod team better?

-Do you guys believe people are reporting out of spite instead of actually being offended?

This thread seems like an invitation to some hardcore mod abuse and calls for anarchy. But anyway~

This is strictly opinion, and if others disagree, that's fine. But I believe that we need to apply more leniency. This is not a game specifically designed for children, so why are we treating the general public like children? You get upset at a person and call them the r-word and it's a hateful comment already? No, that sucks. People get mad. Hateful comments should be designated specifically under racial and homophobic slurs. I'm not saying that insulting someone's intelligence is a good thing. If it's repeated, then it's abuse. But people get upset. That's the truth. Calling them a pigf***ing n****r is wrong. Calling someone a r****d for being stupid is mostly just impolite.
