I told my coworker I met my girlfriend Krystal on an online browser game called epicmafia and he paused, then asked, "wait, one of those Facebook games right?" I said "no it has its own website." "It's called epicmafia.com"

We both laughed hysterically for a few seconds.

He said "wow man that's so random"

I said "yeah, we were both playing there." "It's a game with a group of people trying to find out who the mafia are among innocent people."

Before this convo he was talking about hitting on girls at the bar and I explained that isn't my thing. It's too awkward. I wonder what he thought about me meeting my gf on a game website.

I explained it isn't weird because she lives close, about 20 minutes away. When he asked if we'd gone out or met yet, that's when I had to lie (since we haven't for some reason and that's pretty embarrassing)

It'd be even more embarrassing if I had told him about the year I spent making everyone believe I was a literal female on this website

But the point of this story is to tell Krystal how she made me lie to my coworker

I don't consider it dating if you never even met. Maybe you are interested in the other person, but I think you need more than that to consider it to be a relationship. Love works on feromones too and you can't 'smell' them when you don't see someone. You also don't really see how people move or talk or eat or whatever. You can't touch either. I think all of those things are needed to find out if you're really into someone or not. But ey, that's just me.

Cub, love in itself isn't, but when its only online its not love for me. It's just a fake little thing that I find fun and all in games, but I am not really in love with my EM husband, no.

Why not just really meet then you know...
I understand its sometimes hard to meet but if you're truly interested, why wait months or even years before you actually meet? What is it that holds you back? And how can you call it a relationship when you don't seem to care enough to actually be near someone and go months or years without really meeting?

These are things I truly don't understand. I'd love to read other ppls views though. It's intruiging. I probably will never fully understand (ey, I find the sexual part just too important in a relationship) but I might get a tiny peak n another persons mind.

Vilden, but maybe you meet and find out that you're just not attracted to each other. The voice is weird, they move in a funny way, they laugh at the wrong moments, there are lots of awkward silences bc no one knows what to say and in bed you find out you have completely different rythms and preferences.
