i'm not gonna add a poll or anything, and my own opinions are pretty convoluted, so i don't really want to go getting into them just yet - maybe if i get something to work with. but i am just interested as to what people on here think of it.
Yeah so what I was getting at before, is if hunting was illegal lets say. Deer would overpopulate, that occasional (more like 30 every day) becomes like... thousands a day, because overpopulation is something nobody ever thinks about. Think about it.
Yeah man, you ever happen to see or be a part of a car accident where deer are involved? It's rather ridiculous the amount of injuries and deaths that causes each year now.
I'm speaking more on a regulated hunt Mr. Twist. Not a "Oh i feel like standing outside my door and shooting something". I mean, I've killed everything from Coyotes, to Deer, to bunnies & squirrels, hedgehog, about 5000 raccoon's, stray cats, doves, tons of fish, couple snakes, mice, toads, bugs, crows, and a bear. I did kill a bear.
So yeah, all of those animals supplied us food, or money (Can't really eat coyotes or stray cats yknow, or raccoon's.) You don't waste the animal you kill, which most people that hunt on TV that you see, they waste it, they kill it for TV, maybe keep the nice rack around, and don't do anything with the meat, or the fur nothing. That's wrong... People that hunt outside regulations... is wrong... the only time I ever have... is Rabbits. and that's because they eat our garden over and over.
And I don't just stand around doing nothing, I bow hunt, requires sitting still for hours at a time without moving a muscle. So, the everyday conception of a hunter is flawed by cityfolk. Technology is still ruining the world, don't get me wrong I like it, its just I still prefer to go outside and have fun, and not have friends staring at there phone 75% of the time.
Hunting isn't wrong, people hunt for fun. People hunt for fun while also hunting to support themselves, because the feeling of earning your food from scratch is 10x better than sitting there and going to the store and buying junk. I would have been great being alive in 1749 or w/e.
Yes. When arguing I'm against hunting, I'm actually saying I want to kill every animal in the world.
in all reality yes.
I mean this is an actual fact here
more animals are killed by the tractors that supply food to vegetarians than hunters. Yeah. but you know, as long as they didn't touch the animals... It's all good right!

Yeah, its a good feeling going through all the hard-work to kill overpopulated animals that can support people, including yourself and others. I'll continue to hunt for the rest of my life. Keep within the regulations and everythings fine. Unless you'd rather be driving down the road and watching millions and millions of deer each day killing people? Without hunters we'd be overpopulated by animals and that is something nobody wants. But because some people are so bullheaded about it, i.e "Omg you killed an animal you monster!" when in reality killing the animal has been the way of life forever, and will continue to be, because hunting, fishing, trapping, etc will always be relevant and needed. But people that kill, because they want a trophy or something to show off to the world, that's cutting the line. You seem like one of those people who just think "omg they kill animals they monsters!" because you know what, I do kill animals, and I'll continue.

The bottom line is that in a world that keeps up with modern times there's zero reason to hunt other than flaunting your self-importance and esteem.
Not when you can do the same thing through heating up your leftover pizza.
Right, lets eat disgusting food that isn't good for you in the first place over some of the healthiest food you're ever going to eat because killing for sport is the same as killing for food. Which is what you're pretty much saying.

"I do this thing because it feels good" is little different from hunting for sport.
Feel's good to get your food, EAT your own food that you got yourself. Pretty much supporting yourself. Now just killing an animal to show it off, that's just wrong. which is what killing for sport is. There's a gigantic difference between killing for sport and it feeling good for killing an animal to feed yourself.
