i'm not gonna add a poll or anything, and my own opinions are pretty convoluted, so i don't really want to go getting into them just yet - maybe if i get something to work with. but i am just interested as to what people on here think of it.

this post is hilarious alongside ur earlier post about creationists being stupid. don't just substitute one god for another bro. evolution doesn't prescribe a way to live
the way i see it, it has to be one of those things that affects the entirety of a person's regard. like, how money will corrupt relations between people for example, how they'll fall out over wills, how love gets drowned out by self-interest... because self-interest is essentially primary, and it will feed on anything it can. i mean i don't see how u can kill things for sport and not have that play a tune through ur entire person. it plays in with ur regard for life and death. some game? a sport? that's not stopping at animals. that seems to me some picture of everything. but i dunno. maybe we're just lost for anything real to feel.
On the note of the top: I don't hunt, I don't find interest in that activity. I also don't care if people do it a reasonable amount, as it is how evolution works.
Well in the USA California is already running out of water, but all the crap we put in our atmosphere is trapping all the gases in it. Astronomers are theorizing that we're turning our planet into what Venus is currently
i personally have my money on zombie apocalypse killing us all but deer apocalypse is a close second

Running out of water would be quite impressive. If it became a serious threat, desalination plants would become common. Not sure what specific threat to 'destroy our atmosphere' you mean, but I tend to think scientific progress will combat most threats, until some disastrous mass extinction when we all get flattened by a nuclear missile/asteroid. Boserup theory is far better than Malthusian.

The entire point to hunting is to harvest. You're saying that people do it for fun, most of them aren't harvesting. IF you don't harvest said animal, its a waste. Which case, it might as well be poaching. :)
The only flaw in that idea is that people these days tend not to begin the harvest with a wicker man sacrifice of Edward Woodward.
