Hello Sandboxers. Lucid is interested in making new roles, and I know you guys have a bunch of good ideas, so what I'd like to do is get a list of all of the best ideas in this thread and have a poll that you guys can vote on for lucid to make.
On an unrelated note, if you guys know of any bugs with existing roles, please PM me so I can test it out and forward it to lucid so they can get fixed

It's not mine but I found it and made some changes...
- Each day receives one target. - The Assassin may choose to visit or not that target at night. - If visiting the target, will make a kill attempt. - If the Assassin is visited by ANY investigative role that night, the Assassin will be revealed. - Wins if two of their targets die and the Assassin is still alive or if final two alive. - If village/third party wins, Assassin won't steal their win. If mafia wins, Assassin will steal their win and win alone.
NOTE: last point is because it isn't an instant win for Assassin. Ex: clockmaker wins if hitting 12 o'clock, but Assassin must wait to the game to finish in order to win. Also, the 4th point could also be:
- If the target is visited by anyone that night, they will know Assassin's identity and he'll be revealed to everyone.
EDIT: Would appear as innocent on cop reports unless he decides to kill that night.

* so how I imagine this mechanic would work is if you investigate someone, it'll just be like you were driven to the victim. but if you're say, watcher, it'll say that the victim visited your watch target. if you're a dreamer or get caroled, the victim will be planted inside your dream/carol. basically any investigative result will be changed so that the victim is present in it and seen as 'guilty'.
+ Crosses the path of someone each night (counts as a visit) + That person becomes unlucky for the next day + night: ---- Their vote is worth 0. ---- Any gun they have: 50% chance backfiring, 50% nothing happens. (yes this is actually a positive if given fabbed gun) ---- Their night actions have 50% chance of being roleblocked. + Cannot visit the same person on consecutive nights. + Wins if Alive at end or 3 victims die while unlucky.

Duelist - Each day challenges a player to a duel at sunset - They will both receive a gun and learn eachother's name at night - The guns will always be anonymous and cannot hit anyone except the participants - The loser's will won't be revealed - Wins after 3 victories - Sided with third party
+ town + once a game can challenge someone to a duel during the night-time + the next day, a gun will be given to both players + the guns can shoot anyone but will not hit anyone other than the duelist and the challenged party
basically worse than killer as is with no real control here's a revision
Berserker - Chooses one person to kill each night - 50% chance to kill that person or any other person at random - If someone else is killed instead, the failed kill (original target) will begin to bleed - If he hits himself, he will bleed instead of dying
~ 3rd party ~ once a game, can choose to visit someone at night. upon visiting them, they will become a vanilla version of whichever team that person is on (blue for town, mafia for mafia, and stays as themselves if a 3rd). after 2 nights, they will copy the role of whomever they chose.
I like this idea but: - 2 work days is way too long, 1 would work. - That win condition is basically "wins if game gets to night 4", it would probably work better as a town role, or a different win condition.

The only major problem I see with this role is that it would encourage town roles to wait until the very last second to end their meetings, so that the Necromancer has no time to tailor their kills accordingly. The fix to this would be to extend the time for mafia meetings an extra 10 seconds (while keeping town night meetings as they are), so that the Necromancer is always given time to adjust their kills.
