Hinduism and Buddhism aren't exactly 'religions', they're ways of living life. They're about principles and spirituality. God does not exist because Mr.Hitler was allowed to do what he did to Jews, where was their god? Blacks were enslaved in USA, where was their god? Islamic countries were/are getting bombed, where was/is their god?
The Holy Bible was not written by The Lord, it was written by man. I'm pretty sure the books of hinduism and buddhism aren't written by The Lord either.
God is always right because he is God. That's like asking why water is wet.
Of course there is a God. Do you guys really think that the world would be created by a big bang or by a speck of dust? It is impossible, really. Just think, if the entire universe and every detail in it resulted from one of those things or was just already there. That's not plausible. Only a Creator can create these things. We needed to have Someone make all of these intricate designs.
i dont really see why everyone makes such a big deal out of religion. be a good person either way. if there's a god and a heaven, then you're set. if there's not, then you led a good life. there's no concrete evidence of gods and goddesses existence or non-existence imo. and like we're all gonna figure it out eventually. we're all gonna die.
I don't know anyone at all who claims to know with certainty that there is no "higher power," it's just absurdly unlikely. You can refute something you find irrational without writing anything in stone. The idea of something greater than we know is most likely just an egotistical coping mechanism for a finite and objectively meaningless existence. We want to think there's more to life than there really is, and old white men want to think they were made in "God's" image. Godless religions more focused on nature and inner peace are better but you don't hear about them because their practitioners don't have to be salesmen to get into heaven.
Claiming to know that there is no higher power is arrogant - how could you know that for certain?
Claiming that your higher power is the only one, or that you are special enough to know them by their true name is also arrogant.
in the numerous christian apologetic classes i've taken, interestingly the common response to this is that christianity is the opposite of arrogance, because it requires you to lower yourself to a point where you say: "i deserve to burn forever and know nothing, and only God can give me mercy if He so chooses".
Of course, this is problematic because it leads to some severe self-esteem and a poor mindset, but that's another topic.

I'm pretty passionate about my agnosticism to be honest.
