Reset trophies, reset ELO, reset points, reset all mentors, start competition from Round 1. Custom Lobby trophies to no longer count towards HOF.

Yeah I kinda figured. I'd say given that fact, something drastic needs to be done that hasn't been tried yet to fix things in an attempt to get people interested in competitions again.

The custom lobbies thing is implied, I'll put that in the OP. As for a break in competitions, I honestly think 2 weeks would be enough.
This utterly futile unless the actual system is changed with it. All this does is paint the front door on a house with no roof.
Now, IF this was done along with Custom Lobbies not counting toward the HoF, ELO being replaced by something which worked, and a month or so was passed until the new competitions started - I'd support this.
But resetting the HoF as it is now will make it even worse, not better, because even the few people who are in without having farmed will get knocked off by the farmers.
This funny how people think it's a good decision to reset stats. What does it even bring? A chance to everyone to be first and satisfy his ego? No, there's no point in that if nothing changes afterwards, work on the real issues and then think about a reset but don't think about reseting stats first.

It has nothing to do with that, and more to do with the steadily rising stagnation that's happened with ranked/competitive mafia. Have you paid any attention to the number of games played in each round since the merger and how it's (I'm guessing - I haven't actually looked at the hard numbers) currently at about the same point Competitive was at before the merger?
