And all of the mods powers were contained in the life of the person they were doing this too so nothing happened to them.
Also DLYV isn't a competitive setup but that doesn't mean there isn't a way to make a yak setup. I'll be working on making one once I come back from work.
it would only be an "exploit" if they found a loop-hole... like when doc could save yak. there are no loopholes now. its cheating to know that you will be yakked because they are your friend and intend to play to your win... or gamethrowing to attempt to lose n1
so both "exploits" are explicitly against the rules. you shouldn't ban a setup from comp just because people are capable of cheating and game-throwing. every setup has the potential for those rules being broken.
that part of it can easily be considered gamethrowing. to do that, both yaks have to yak the same person and kill them so the game ends n1 and is too short to be a ranked game... so they are playing to lose. also, they risk doc saving the yak target for a ranked game that is autolose

well that was uncalled for. I love TEO but compared to one of the basic's that's totally complicated. i'm not saying it's difficult to learn i'm just saying newer players can be intimidated by a multi setup with lots of PR's when they have something like Basic Logic/Basic Variant as an alternative. jeeeeeze.
as I'm aware it's that as well as mafia having a way to unrank the game if they don't want to be the yakuzas.
bell just put TEO up for ya. yak setups aren't being comped right now because of exploit abuse as i understand it. if you have another pick let us know~
exploit abuse? you mean throwing for mafia in hopes you get yakked? with doc not being able to save yak anymore, you cant pull the old "lynched the yakked, yak-kill, most of town wins as mafia" strat. so you cant really ensure that you will win by scumsiding, because game will end with only 2 people yakked no matter what. if people meta-abuse yak joints with friends, its called cheating... because they are playing for each others win.
Leave to a simpleton like mist to call TEO "complicated".

TEO is a great setup but BV, BL, and VLDI are all comped in the same round. Unless some runners really insist on playing on it and push to fill tables, I expect it to get drown out by people less willing to try a complicated setup like that.
