lucid just has a different view of the site since he looks at it in a much more holistic sense than most of us, who are inherently comp centric. His idea of what admin/mods should be focusing on is quite a bit differently than actuality, but I admire his ideals. That said, the user experience that mods provide could be improved, but with so many reports, it's difficult to make it a priority.
there's going to be a lot of headbutting with lucid as an active presence on the site, especially with the way community vios are being brought to the forefront nowadays.
he told me off for not deleting some censor bypasses in threads i had never read/been a part of
i think jasper implied it was lucid's decision, similar to how he did it when dan left. maybe not, i don't care. it'll either be a pleasant surprise, or goodbar.
considering how sachy is regarded by lucid now I was very hesistant to make a hard recommendation for a new admin after I quit.
sachy told me lucid doesn't hate her anymore, but i'm not sure how true it is. she really shouldn't be admin anyway. she would probably take it but it wouldn't be for her own good.

i gotta say, changing my avi for the first time in 5/6 months is actually surprisingly refreshing.

if it's lucid then the website will get a lot more interesting, that's for sure.
i don't really think there are any weak links on the mod team right now. they aren't really making any splashes so they don't seem too great, but i think they're solid.

tigerawr and laurierose are my go-tos on bad mods, i need to start using other people. like divinity.

i like the new mods. most of them are solid comp vets (anthony, bernin, mango etc) and they've done well so far. Nat/mist's app was good and i was content seeing that one end up happening, i also pushed pretty heavily for uprizzle and they've all been pretty good

Germ posted more on the forums than pretty much any other mod on the recent teams.
i thought you meant mod forums, nevermind
oh woops my bad dude, I meant forums in general. Mod forums are obviously important too but it's not like I can read them.
i thought you were like talking about judging behind the scenes stuff.
Yeah, that too. I'm talking as a user of the site - it's tough to make opinions of mods who don't post a ton, especially since I'm not about to thumb through reports to do checkups.
yeah, i know what you mean. i think it's hard to quantify how i judge people both as potential mods and current mods. it's sort of like its own category. some people just do it well and some people are tigerawr.
