Anthony is a good guy, an amazing player, and probably a good mod. However, I think it's important to enforce a no-tolerance approach on cheaters as mods.
Jackhammer you realize that if you've EVER written "bad play" and closed a report you have no room to speak on how the site would be under someone else.
Says Zovea, angrily kicking against the dirt for the mod position he'll never have.
Bad play isn't a violation and lots of people get reported for GT when they're not playing to their win condition. I'm not sure what measly attempt at snark this is, but that's a pretty horrendous post.
This is hilarious.
Do you give violations to townies for not playing to their win condition?
I'm not going to spend time reading the arguments made in this thread and refuting them and I really do respect Anthony, but I'd like to reiterate that I don't think cheaters should be modded regardless of circumstances
It is a matter of principle, not a matter of the individual
well it's a dumb principle. we're talking about epicmafia moderators, not world leaders. we're allowed to grant a little respite
Well if that's the case why not let Riot admin again, I'm sure he'll do an infinitely better job than anyone with CM/FP as their most played setup.
cuz lucid blocked him.

Why do you even care what anyone thinks of you as a mafia player, Mike? Honestly, it has very little value over anything.

B) Don't actually have any credibility as a mafia player
B) Don't actually have any credibility as a mafia player
Define.

I've said numerous times that my only argument is on principle, which I value. If you don't agree with me that's cool, I'm only one dude. I just want to voice my opinion on the matter.

then your mentality isn't going to lead the site anywhere better than it is, currently.
I rest my case.
This coming from the same training player that claimed "comp is thriving".
I have a trophy, first and foremost.
Secondly, we've already talked this out buddy.
Spectate 3 random wins from Jazz's run and tell me if you actually think trophies are merit based.

So you don't really have any further elaboration? Seems a solid argument.

Zovea can you get the hell out of my thread? You do that narcissist-and-proud thing that I do except the difference is that you A) Believe what you say and B) Don't actually have any credibility as a mafia player
No TMjuke, I don't. I think Anthony would make a fine and objective mod.

No TMjuke, I don't. I think Anthony would make a fine and objective mod. I also think that he should be barred from modding on principle, because he cheated.
