Anthony is a good guy, an amazing player, and probably a good mod. However, I think it's important to enforce a no-tolerance approach on cheaters as mods.

i personally love it when people make spelling mistakes and think they're a psychological goldmine and wouldn't harass them for it for fear i'd deprive myself

Congratulations Zovea, you've graduated. I'm proud to present you with your Bachelor of Arts in being an annoying turd

Dude, saying "illavent" when you meant "irrelevant" is basically volunteering for a lifetime of insults via yours truly, me, sonseray.
I worded that incorrectly. I meant when they're not "intentionally playing against their win condition"
And herein lies your problem. That quote does excuse the damage bad villager play can have on a game.
That's not my problem, that's the site's ruling's problem.
So you're saying we should ban all and every single user who makes a mistake or plays in a way they believe to be optimal when it is objectively suboptimal? Whatever you're trying to point out here, that's ridiculously polarizing and I have no idea how you expect a gaming site to grow that way.
There's a difference between "not playing to lose" and "literally did nothing that can result in a win". If mods would start making this distinction we could build standards for gameplay that make the site better as a whole.
Either way Zovea I think you should sit down, for once
And doom the site to forever fall into mediocrity in your hands? Not on your life.
you can't punish people for playing badly because then mafia would never win - you can only encourage them to play better

Alternatively, ceaselessly make essay-long posts that everybody will continuously disregard because of how horribly repetitive they are until you get fed up and go on another site hiatus
Either's fine by me, just looking out for your own time, friend

Zovea I've dedicated half of my time on EM to arbitrarily trolling the mods and I bet I'd still be picked for the mod kickball team before you.
Food for thought

I guess it's sort of a divine karma that I troll threads and then Zovea derails my serious thread with irrelevant nonsense and grammatically incorrect gibberish.
