i say boot rondar, turq, and vilden. rondar+turq don't really do much and vilden because killing a new mod would put the fear of god into uprizzle and jesus, which they need.
rondar's been modded for two months and only has 200 reports. that's 25 a week. holy heck.
Some mods bring certain intangible qualities to the table. Some are scrappy, some are real firecrackers, some are flashy, and some "just have a feel for the game"...
some have good mouths ;)

i think melody is just passive aggressive and i can't recall anything that i've done or said to her to make her snipe at me. which is weird but such is life.

I think she's a very kind and tolerant person, and she thinks I am funny.
I think most of the mods are well intentioned and are trying their best. There are some instances that were bad within the mod team, but I think most of them really are trying to do their best.
The biggest problem with the mod team right now is that it is unorganized. That has caused a slowdown in doing reports which is why we now have a backup on reports. This can all be solved by a better structure for management so every mod knows what their task is. Split up reports by type and put a mod in charge of managing the mods who do reports for that section. It would create more accountability and productivity. This comes from someone who has experience in management.
Lastly, I would agree that some mods phone it in or go inactive. This is the second part of the problem. Mods who go inactive should be fired. If a mod has a valid reason for not being available that is different. If you create more accountability for the mods to do their jobs as mods, it will keep chaotic scenarios like this one from happening where no work is getting done and nobody knows why it go so far behind or who is fixing it.
haha shaggy plussed this to hide the neg on it

I just got done playing TF2 with Jocelyn not too long ago and there was a really good sniper that probably killed me at least ten times. It was also my first time playing an actual game of TF2 and I thought it was pretty fun - way more fun than mafia, in fact.
