iirc i sent in a mod app like 2 months ago. i put lots of young optimism into it to see if anyone was moved by it. the mod team are heartless jerks i didnt want to be mod anyway!!!!!!!
cheaters never getting a chance to mod is a fair call. exceptions to the rule exist but i don't care if the blanket ban continued to exist. i just strongly think that if one IS modded you need an ACTUAL post-mod reason to remove them, which calvin did not have
iirc calvin left on his own terms. considering how brutal that thread was, I can't say I really blame him. He was going to be hounded about it until he quit anyway.

Kerry I was just using you as an example because I think you'd be a good mod if you could be one, but you can't
god forbid mods have work and personal lives that prevents them from doing every single report at every possible opportunity. the problem with pereking doing literally every report is that it left nothing for mods to do and he also stomped around mod chat like he owned the place. it's bad work ethic. it made modding not fun.
stupid argument, you could just leave the mod team if you felt like you werent doing anything at all insted of forcing someone who was literally more effective than the rest of you in that team to do a worse job for the sake of people feeling like they are usefull
She cheated a long time ago but she's a great person who obviously doesn't cheat anymore, and she is a great member of the community who is nicer than almost every mod who was ever modded
She'd be a good mod but is forever blocked because of the cheating
I think all of the "do not mod because x" precedents almost don't apply anymore, since Calvin and LaurieRose were modded, and Howl I guess
I mean still a lot of those were turned over rightfully, but still
I honestly don't think modding cheaters is that bad, if it's been a really really long time since they cheated, and they've proven to be legit now
I mean like, Calvin was a good mod, and he did cheat, but Vancyon and Calvin hiding it like it was nothing was bad, which is why I ended up calling him out on that thread too
