i took All Quiet on the Western Front on vacation with me once and bawled in my hotel room at the end, so that's probably a ringing endorsement

1. Life of Faith Series
2. Animal Farm
3. Count of Monte Cristo
4. Three Musketeers
5. Little Women
6. Phantom of the Opera
7. Confessions
8. Charlotte's Web

No order. I enjoy Alexander Dumas so much, as well as Alcott, Twain, and Orwell. I dislike Dickens outside of Tale of Two Cities. I read TFIOS but Looking for Alaska looked so much better and I honestly want to read it some time.

EDIT: How could I forget Jane Eyre. If I had to rank, it'd be my first or second favorite. Charlotte Bronte is amazing. Emily Bronte is darker with the story themes, but good as well. I just prefer Jane Eyre to Wuthering Heights.

His writing style is so similar to Vonnegut's that I often get them mixed up. I'd suggest reading the short story, "A Sound of Thunder".

There are a lot of people I need to read but I haven't got around to yet, like Faulkner.

I would really suggest reading the four best vonnegut books if you like him ape

(From Best to Worst)
1. The Sirens of Titan
2. God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater
3. Cat's Cradle
4. Mother Night

Anyone who tells you that Slaughterhouse 5 is his best book sucks

I sure did, I don't care for poetry much but sophomore year of high school, we spent a few weeks reading Kurt Vonnegut short stories and those stories were probably the best pieces of literature I have ever read
