i didn't like the ending to the road but it's a masterfully written book
Apostasy says HUNTER S THOMPSON HOLY CRAP How did I forget him? Fear and loathing in Las Vegas is the quintessential acid book, and I love me some acid You really should read his other stuff. FLLV was good but lacking in the substance HST can really deliver; critical political and social examination. All while taking excessive substances and creating havoc.
FLLV was like the Beginner's Guide to Thompson. There is much more chaos to be had.

gennehfarrxD says also maybe these are too girly but i remember liking the glass castle and the bell jar The Glass Castle was a stellar book. So was Of Mice and Men. The Road bored me to tears.
the road wasn't worth crying over but it was good
I like hemingway, and steinbeck also east of eden, grapes of wrath were good I think of mice and men was my favorite it was just so perfect for me
I don't really like to describe books as "awesome" or "good" because frankly im pretty bad at judging whether they are good or not lmao the road was depressing as hell I cried for like a good 30 minutes afterwards but it was so powerful its worth it
Owen says im waiting for these goddamn newbs to finish their opinion threads then im gone don't worry midgetwen pls we all know you can never leave
