Leaving.

I think I need to focus on getting better right now because this site has really made me lose myself.

There is just unnecessary bs that occurs here and I don't need it. I shouldn't be bothered by half the things I'm bothered by. It's worn me out completely and I'm tired of it.

I will be on Skype if anyone wants to keep in touch with me. I'm not sure if I'm leaving forever or just for a while, but it'll be for a long while I'm guessing.

It's not worth explaining why I'm leaving because nothing is going to change or be fixed. The site has just plummeted severely and I'm done trying to help when my attempts are not being acknowledged. It's a lost cause. I realize why everyone is quitting now, and I think a lot of users know what I'm talking about when I say this site has made me socially inept.

In short, I've lost myself completely and I just really want to fix things before it's too late.

I will log in and check for messages, posts, etc. for about a week or so, then I assume you won't be seeing much of me for at least six months. Not sure, but I'm going to try to really not come on the site anymore. It's effectively tearing me down and I've had enough, quite frankly.

fundamentally one of the things that bothered me about bieng a mod was that iw as basically site famous (for lack of a better way of explaining), and a bunch of people who id idn't know nor talked to much had opinions on me and would psychologically evaluate me at the earliest convenience. it's really concerning.


HmmI dont think it was being a mod. I have no idea what any of the mods right now are for example. It was probably your forum presence as a mod (or after).

For example, I'll be honest and tell you my thoughts about you. I had a pretty good opinion from when you were Bearisoslow, and when you came back I thought you were a pretty great mod all throughout. After you quit though my opinion of you has gone downhill even though I haven't talked to you at all, just because of the types of post you frequently make. Like, I feel like, as have many people in EM, you've gotten bored so you just start taking potshots at people (like in bumping this thread, even though it may have merely been a joke). Which after a while gets old. And yet all of this only comes from your posting, somehow.

In a similar way, mods dont usually get along with people that complain about them, even if theyre not really insulting and just criticizing them fairly. It's just human nature

If you think about it, its silly that someones posts could make you have a strong opinion on someone, but everyone does this at the end

it's just really weird to me that people have actual opinions on people they've never met and only seen epicmafia.com posts of. like that's weird to me. maybe if you have impressions sure but people have full blown "you are x y and z" opinions of me. it's weird.

Leaving mafia games entirely out of my opinion of Carly, she was still a garbage cheater-pandering moderator who did her best to be the glue holding the Vancyon Aristocracy together and I'm not going to pretend she wasn't just because she's sensitive.


I came on as a crash-help for Vancy and Vancy was barely ever around and I was just trying to keep the ship from falling to pieces and barely knew the background of what was going on. I had just finished my last final exam and Vancy/Jasper messaged me so I helped out. So yeahhhhh idk man idk.
