Why is the thread locked even?

Why is lucid not bothering to make a censoring system himself where it will censor the word by itself and let admins add any words possible?

The measures that were already (rightfully) in place can be found in the "Hateful Comments" and "Harassment" violations, which are actually outlined in the Adsense polices, unlike cursing.

I see - I can talk to lucid about removing the censor, but the censor also includes a lot of the sexually explicit stuff that was pointed out to him by the Google representative as not okay. Lucid spoke with the guy, I didn't - so I don't know what the deal was exactly.

Also adsense did not have a problem with EVERY thread. And 99% threads on em have bad words

Edit: It's because snailsmale/Howl deleted and adsense was more concerned with the sexual harassment bit

And I'm saying that there's really nothing I can do about it.

It's really difficult to be consistent with community vios since everyone has a different threshold. We've been taking measures to be more consistent across the board.

No, that's not what I said at all.

Lucid put in a censor. Anything done to get around the censor is considering bypassing - look at the examples I posted in the announcement.

well honestly this is all trite and i have held the opinion that one or two instances of someone saying f*ck wasn't that big of a deal as the forums serve a niche audience and i don't think anyone would be up in arms about it but apparently there was a 3 page complaint thread about precedence because someone used asteriks to self-censor their swear or something
