i flashed my night meeting end at around 12 seconds into the night. and when it didnt hammer i figured that the pr was either afk or thinking about his visit.
i was right about xzero thinking, but he was voting while he was thinking. so not perfectly right.

i had the meta on xzero, and others on the table. i knew that others had no reason to think because everybody else would have thought pregame on who to pick. xzero would not pick me because of ego reasons and he would think in diabolik and god. that was my thinking.
@steven-- i am not wrong about my definition of meta. meta is the information you have prior to game based on your experience. that is no where near meta abuse or honest meta. honest meta and meta abuse is cheating. the best solution is to have mods who actually understand what the difference is
@steven-- analyzing your opponents based on your knowledge about them. if you are implying that you should play with everybody such that you are playing with them for the first time and ignore every knowledge of that player you have and lose out on your wins because of that then you are the third biggest idiot. thank god i left a slot open for you
No, mafia is about analyzing your opponents. Pre-analysis occurring in other games is meta, literally by definition. This isn't a question.
In SSBB looking at which character your opponent will use before you do is meta, even though knowing which characters counter which is definitely in-game knowledge
###meta abuse -- abusing honest meta and playing with the same set of people every game so that they pick up the subtle messages that give away your role.
for example " hey, trust me, i promise i am town"
###meta-- any information you have on anybody and you use it to your advantage.
for example -- knowing that this guy would have nkd instead of killing, and you would not lynch him if someone is killed. that guy will even point it out. that is something strategic. it is not something that a person says, like in meta abuse and honest meta.
meta is absolutely fine and is to be used to win games.

And, well, out of game information depends on how you define game information. I prefer the definition of "mafia" that includes the content of the players' brains, but you may say you're playing a different game if you like.
For example, in chess, a player's idea of openings and strategies and such are all considered part of a meta-game, and not a part of the game of chess itself. This definition is here because the game of chess can be analyzed independently of all those things (to great effect), whereas the game of mafia cannot, so it makes sense to include the information all the players have from the moment the game starts back as "game information", making the only "out of game information" information you have from functions outside the game client (DURING the game), which are possibly part of a meta-game to mafia (the game).
