I will say that some pines smell A LOT better than others, though. A good trick for protecting your nose from the scent is to chew bubble gum that has a fruity smell.

Actually, most pines aren't perfectly straight, even if it looks like they are in all the films. That's just Hollywoodesque BS on the industry's part. You shouldn't let it bother you if your pines aren't perfectly straight.

i'm sure glad i have visual proof that my pines back home isn't abnormal!

I'm being honest when I say those pines actually look fairly messed up. Not sure how I'd fit one of those things inside my chipper/shredder, lol.
