Wainwright has well exceeded my expectations this year. I'm usually rather critical on St. Louis players--love them to death, you know, but always trying to look at them from an unbiased pov. In all honesty, I thought his previous years have not been quite on-par with what I'd hoped for out of our ace, but this year, he's really shown his leadership. If he shows it through the second half and into post-season, we could have a chance even with our somewhat weakened team.
And FYI, Wainwright is my favorite current player.
