The Grace Period is pretty much just saying that God has said everything that he needs to have said through the Bible. It's all done, and so that's why he doesn't directly "talk" to people anymore like he did in the past. We're given enough evidence (you may argue that there's no scientific evidence, but you cannot doubt the historical evidence at this point) to come to the decision on our own. If he provided the same amount of evidence in the past as he did now, there'd be no doubt that this entire world would be Christian but not by faith, but by absolute 100% evidence. and God wouldn't want that to happen

Actually, the need for tons of evidence in the past is REALLY because Jesus needed to convince everybody (mainly the Jews) that he was the Messiah. From a historical standpoint, the Jews always needed evidence to believe. Time and time again the Old Testament, they wouldn't believe in God even when God directly led the people through a pillar of fire. They saw the Red Sea split too, yet they were skeptical and had to make their own golden-cow. And also, the miracles helped convince people, because word alone wasn't enough for the Jews (like it isn't enough for you). That's the honest reason why evidence was thrown around like nothing in the past. Jesus needed to convince people he was the savior, or else his sacrifice will be in vain if nobody believes in him. Then the reason why there's no evidence now is because we entered the Grace period in the Christian timeline. This time line pretty much says that God has given us everything we need to make a decision on our own.

Well the problem with that is that history contradicts a fast-creation of the Bible. The birth of the Bible was slow; 66 books, 40+authors, and over 1600 years of writing. In those 1600 years, the Bible includes a lot of history. The Old Testament is filled with historical events over a LONG time line that are definitely true and proved outside of the Bible. (fall of egypt, history of jews, the assyrians...) Also if you look at the work of many Roman historians like Suetonius, they include quotes from the Bible. Point being, the Bible took years to create; if it popped up overnight after 1 guy wrote it, it definitely would've been questioned. Especially if Jesus wasn't real, then Christianity would've dropped instantly. But instead, 2000 years ago, you have many eyewitnesses to Jesus miracles and you even have martyrs, recorded in Roman records & not just the Bible. Martyrs wouldn't die for a new faith that just popped up...would you srsly throw away your life for a sketchy religion?

Well first of all, you assume there are innocent people. Mankind is condemned because "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." So technically, bad things are happening to bad people. Yet this isn't how it's going to be forever; the saved will be redeemed, and at the judgment seat, everything will be justified. In other words, there's hope through faith. And also, if you're trying to argue against the authenticity of the Bible, i understand what you're saying. It's like saying 2000 years ago, a group of 20 people wrote this really awesome story to con people into this religion, and that explains the birth of Christianity and the Bible.

How is the Bible built around Jesus? Parts of it existed long before he was purported to have lived, including pretty much the entire Old Testament which was written in Ancient Hebrew, and which includes the Torah, which comprises the five books of Moses.

Now if you were only referring to the New Testament, which represents most of the basis for Christian thought, you might be correct.

Also, the Garden of Eden shouldn't be here geographically. I mean, if there was a small, self-sustaining garden on Earth guarded by an angel with a flaming sword ... What's so different between that and God floating around through the sky? It provides too much evidence, so I just assume that God made it die out so nobody could find it (same with Noah's Ark, although people today believe they found it). God wouldn't want anyone back in the garden anyways, since now mankind has to do work since Eve first sinned :[. Also, the opening chapter of Genesis is really used to provide background, and a LOT of it. I don't actually view the Bible as a storybook. Storybooks are fun to read, and the Bible isn't really that ... exciting, i must admit. But you can't say that the Bible doesn't teach you anything. It provides a crapload of info on the Christian way of life also how we don't necessarily stick to it, as hard as we may try.

Hah yeah, that's the most annoying thing about a religion. We actually have to prove something, while atheists don't have to since they don't "believe" in anything. But anyways, the way your argument works, you would have to accept the condition that God is real and omniscient. The problem is that you're blending it with science, saying that Adam/Eve or their offspring could die. Yet if God is here, he would ensure that the human race multiplied. After Eve's first sin, death entered the world. But God wouldn't bring death so fast that his own creation wouldn't get a chance to live. That'd be stupid.
