I HAVE had sleep paralysis. Twice in the same night, actually. I laid down around 2am one night and I started hearing voices like in the distance by my wall so I woke up and it freaked me out. . .so I laid back down around 4ish and within a few minutes I couldn't move and I heard the muttered voices again and I swear to God it was like someone took a knife or a pair of scissors and stabbed my mattress by my head and just tore it apart. It only lasted a few minutes but it felt like it lasted forever. I was TERRIFIED to go to sleep for weeks after that. It's like you're trying to scream and you're fighting with yourself to wake up. I woke myself up by trying to roll my eyes into the back of my head.
