I think a recursive algorithm that keeps calling itself for every possible situation that arises should be able to keep the implementation logic relatively simple. The real issue I'm having is determining how mafia will figure out it's optimal claim. The algorithm would have to keep track of the order of claims and check what would happen if mafia claims A vs. mafia claims B. I can't really describe the problem that well, but the point is, the claiming issue is my biggest problem. After I can get around it, I think I should at least be able to implement the algorithm for [blue,nilla] setups, which although doesn't seem like a lot, might actually be a strong start.
