breh there is a wonderful sports adage that states, "offense wins games, defense wins championships." i'm sure this will remind you of that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIqYhcdyOMo
that literally does not outweight at all what steph brought to the table, go look at game 5, series tied 2 a piece and steph drops 37 on 13-23 shooting with clutch 3's over delly, that game was what should have been the icing on the cake for the finals mvp but i think you just have blinders on when it comes to steph
its not about guarding offensive superstars like lebron and kd and limiting the amount of points they score. they are going to get theirs regardless. its about not allowing them to get theirs in crucial moments of the game, which would swing the momentum in favor of their team. iggy was able to accomplish this, the same way kwhai did in the 2014 finals, even tho lebron was able to average ~30 ppg. but ur right, u know more about basketball than me and ur god, wardell stephen curry was still robbed tho.
iggy was given the mvp because of narratives, he was a much better defender on lebron than anyone else the warriors had, but go watch any highlights and look at the wide open shots iguodala was able to get because the cavs decided to double and trap steph all series long, and steph still averaged better numbers than recently preceding finals mvps. the media had an uproar that steph was being locked down by delly which was incredibly overblown but it lead to iggy getting the credit for the wins despite lebrons numbers barely dipping game to game
they give steph louder mvp chants than KD... steph is the face of the warriors, and you've become so frustrated at being wrong about the refs that youre trying to undermine stephs ability LOL also he was robbed of the 2015 finals mvp but i'm guessing you don't actually watch games just read 12 year old opinions online
