It's been over ten years. I propose that Lucid should make a 10 year Hall of Fame section that has everyone's stats saved and then reset the site stats for everyone and everything.
To include deleting all accounts below 49,900 that have not been used in 3 years.
Trophies too.
And for f sake, add badges for 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th place.
Stats got reset once. It sucked. Definitely don't merge sandbox and main. Terrible idea. Separate comp and main into red/yellow lobby. Get rid of filter. Make EM what it used to be and see if people come back. What is this sh\it?? The surprising part is that some people running these changes have been around for years. Did you take a sip of some kool-aid and turn into an idiot?
Make finding the "enable trophies" setting a logic based game, where you must use deductive reasoning and logic, with a dash of people skills, to find out who is a trophy and who... wait...
I think instead of a massive stats reset, lucid should make a new profile setting that hides peoples trophies and achievements, and keep it off by default unless new players manually find it in settings. That should make it harder for people to brag.
Personally I disagree with this idea tbh but I feel this conversation is worth having, especially since it's coming from MafiaGod who's spent so much time playing ranked that he would have a large stake in this with a possibility of all of his stats being wiped.
What kind of options do you think this will open up? To me I feel this will just make everyone mad that their stats and points are gone. Even if it's accessible through a wall of fame, stats will no longer be condensed onto profiles and stats pages and it'll feel like getting points and improving your winrate is pointless because it'll eventually just be wiped and you'll have to start all over again, and at that point if an individual user wanted to they could just make a new account. I know 10 years is a long timespan but there are plenty of users already who have been around here for nearly that long, and I don't think they'd want their stats to be archived away.
Fine I will just be #3 forever and you will be #79,661 ooorrrr you can have them reset and then have the site open up for more options and things for you to do.
