After getting confirmation from admin, I was put in charge of enabling a slur whitelist. What is it, you may ask:
Reporting users who use homophobic slurs when they are homosexual seems very counter-intuitive, just like reporting users who use racial slurs when they are themselves a racial person.
In order to apply just write in the comments your sexuality, race, age and disabilities, and I'll quickly sort it up and add you to the slur whitelist.
I have seen people from the LGBT community attempt to stand up for themselves; reporting users with slurs as their names (like Dyke) but they are often ignored and told to "fk off".
It's really disturbing how toxic these communities have become online.
If those people are empowered, HALLELUJAH they can do it all they like - but not on a site like this where anyone can see and potentially be offended.
There are rules against slurs for a reason, not just to target straight white people, but so that people of all race and sexual orientation can feel SAFE on the site. How the hell can they feel welcome with a few self-important a*seholes spamming words they're offended by?!

that's not your call to make though. the concept of reclaiming is to give control and power back to the people who it's been taken away from due to those words being used against them. it's a really empowering thing for some people. i admit it's not something i'm personally into but ultimately it's their word describing them and it's their decision on how to use it (or not use it) going forward
My whole point is NOBODY should be using the slurs, whether they are from the group or not as it affect far more than just the people from the specific group.

I'm not ever a SJW but even I am disgusted by the dregs of the LGBT community that I have come across on this site - they aim to create even more of a divide.
So the white people that you hear on the news who have been targeted in racial attacks for adopting a black child have no right to be offended by the slurs? Cool.
