Hello everyone! I would like to ask the people who are interested in this event to participate and contribute as much as possible.
In order for 2 new roles to be added to em, the community has to work together to refine the ideas that are going to be mentioned below. We have to collectively select 2 of the best ideas and make sure their version is the best one possible. The next step would be to come up with some sort of artwork for the selected roles. Lucid mentioned something about rewarding the users behind the artwork that would get selected in the end for those 2 roles.
Jack the Ripper (originally Hypocrite)
Jack the Ripper hates anyone who kills.
Jack the Ripper only wins when the game ends and all murderers are dead.
If Jack the Ripper receives a gun or knife and kills someone with it, he will not consider himself a murderer.
To Jack the Ripper, murderers are killing roles or any other player that has successfully eliminated someone else (shot, stabbed, blown up, etc.)
If a player survives one of these actions, Jack the Ripper will not consider the attacker a murderer.

Cat Lady
Chooses one player every night. The player is instantly alerted that a cat is at their door. They have two options: Kill the cat, and let it go. If you kill the cat, you are roleblocked and the Cat Lady doesn't know who was visited. If you let it go, the Cat Lady learns your role.

Robinhood
Visits two people, taking all items from the first and giving them to the second (cannot visit self either way)
Action fails if trying to steal from a mafia

Vice President
If the president dies, takes their place
All townies immediately receive a message of their new president
Attends mafia meetings, and makes them anonymous
Cannot win if they are the vice president (~Alyssa)
Gossiper
Chooses one person every night.
Will see some whispers this person receives/makes.
If lynched at the end of the game, the last mafia can guess who the Seer is for autowin.
If the Seer dies, they will appear as a random (non-mafia) role in the setup and their will will always be blank. If dead, the mafia can still attempt a guess to the Seer's identity at the end of the game.
If there are multiple Seers in a game, only one Seer will know the mafia at any given time.
If there are two mafias and multiple Seers, the knowledge of the mafias will be split between them.

Once per game can force someone to vote someone else. Vote cannot be OT'D if it is a hammer. Sided with maf

Redcoat/Sureshot -Starts with a musket -Can choose to load and clean musket during the day -The musket will be ready to use the next day -The musket’s shot can pass through vests -Sided with the mafia
Nutritionist -Once a game, can corrupt the voting lists the following day -The voting lists’ names and pictures will be randomly replaced by healthy food -This includes all logs, such as the governor’s list, a gun’s list, a chef’s list, a jailer’s list, etc. -Can complete day actions, but identities in lists are obscured and randomized -Sided with the mafia
To explain with the second one because I explained it weirdly I think, the premise is that they obscure and ruin the day action voting logs. I felt like something like this could be viable if there's a set up with gov or sheriff having an edge on the maf. You could activate the power and, they can still try to do their day actions, but it's essentially like Russian Roulette with what they'd pick. A day action obfuscation could be fun but at the same time IDK how much of a coding nightmare that would be.
I made it food themed because in my head it sounded funny. But it being food-themed isn't make-or-break. It just sounds funny to select 'Grapes' 'Apples' or 'Bannas' instead of 'shayneismyname' 'Giga13 or 'DarkB.' Har har
Hello Lucid I am reposting some zany mafia ideas, here you go, just for you
How about a mafia role named Recruit or Initiate. They have a different meeting to the mafia, and can visit two people at night. The visit does nothing if they visit town, but if they visit mafia they get a message saying "You have found your partner" or something. When they have found all their mafia partners, they join the next mafia night meeting.
Example: I visit Lucid and Ethereal night one, Ethereal is mafia, Lucid is not. I get a message on day one saying "You have found out Ethereal is your partner/comrade/the mafia!" On night two I visit Ever and yela and I get a message on day two saying "You have found out yela is your partner/comrade/the mafia!" There's only 3 mafia in this setup, so on night three I'm in the mafia meeting and can kill.
If the other two mafia die before I find them, mafia loses. If I find the two mafia the night before they're lynched, I go into the meeting alone and game continues.
Halloween spirit (third party): -Has to visit one player every night giving them an option: "Trick or treat". -Cannot visit the same player twice. -If the player chooses treat the halloween spirit gains 1 candy. -If the player chooses trick they either (random chance): -> are bleeding the next day. -> die in the night -> are poisoned the next day. [or just die idk] -The Halloween spirit wins upon collecting 3 candies or outnumbering the town.
- Is informed of all Love connections within the game. - Is able to accept/decline the Bride's proposal to any user once per game. - Does not attend mafia meetings. - Sided with mafia.

- Steals gun whenever shot at. - Can shoot through bulletproof vests
I can't decide if the above role would be Town or Mafia.
